Last week, I was able to speak to several classes within my area and it was wonderful. This was my first time doing this in the new area I have moved into. I have missed doing things like this.
It is always wonderful inspiring children to do more with writing. To write is to be able to express yourself in a way that can be shared with countless others. It is how we share knowledge, stories, and countless memories. The ability to read and write is why we have such advanced civilizations nowadays.
It is a sad fact to admit that the reading comprehension skills are starting to dwindle within my country. I will do my part at least to make sure that this depletion stops as quickly as possible.
