Hello everyone, today I just want to get a little personal. I have talked a lot about bullying with my Silver Dove books, and people always wonder why I did it. I tell them that I understand the subject since I was bullied constantly in school, but many of them don’t believe me, they tell me that they couldn’t possibly believe that I have gotten bullied. Well, believe it or not folks, it did happen. I was bullied for many reasons; I was seen as the weird kid, I was called ugly, they said I was too smart, that I was a teacher’s pet, and when we got older they went into more subjects to bully me for such as me being Catholic and saying I was a different sexuality due to having short hair. It was not a fun time, and I hated every second, but I am grateful for it. This bullying helped provide inspiration and helped me realize who I wanted to be. I didn’t want to be like the people who hurt me because they were “normal”, I wanted to be myself.
Because of everything that happened, I became who I am today, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
