Hi everyone, I have been a bit lax when it comes to my posts recently and I apologize for that.
Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of seeing RL Stine speak at a college in Niceville, FL. It was incredible. I will admit that I was awestruck. Some people are fans for movie stars while I am a fan of authors. I was able to speak with him for only a moment after the presentation. I got a book signed and also gave him a copy of my first book. I told him that he was a big inspiration for me as a writer growing up. If it wasn’t for him and other writers like him, I probably wouldn’t have written books and got published. I can only hope and pray that he read my book, but I know that is asking a lot of a man who is probably insanely busy with how successful he is. It would be a dream come true though, if he did. I am humble enough to admit that.
